Il Primo anno, film diretto da Thomas Lilti, è la storia di due ragazzi alle prime con il primo anno al corso di medicina. Uno è Antoine (Vincent Lacoste), che sta per iniziare il suo primo anno...per la terza volta ed è disposto a tutto pur di riuscire. L'altro è Benjamin (William Lebghil), figlio di un medico, che è al suo primo tentativo, ma non è sicuro che la medicina sia la sua strada nella vita. In un ambiente estremamente competitivo, in cui le notti trascorrono tra studio e sacrifici, le due matricole dovranno trovare forza e coraggio per affrontare il loro presente accademico e soprattutto per costruire il futuro che desiderano.
