of Amos Gitai's brave work to explain the difficulties of strict adherence

to religious teachings beyond what people can find reasonable to comply

with asking in one scene "why such rigour?" in making so many laws

seem overzealously preached - only to be answered that with religion, that

must be the approach that has to be taken - or so many seem to believe

as the movie argues.
