Made in India: A Titan Story

Set in 1970s Bombay, it is the audacious journey of Xerxes Desai and Akash Dikshit as they challenge a smuggler-run watch market by dreaming of an indigenous, world-class Indian brand. Born out of JRD Tata's humiliation at the hands of a Swiss watchmaker, Titan rises through a series of near fatal obstacles such as bureaucratic shutdowns, financial dead ends, failed prototypes, and personal sacrifices held together by Xerxes's radical belief in the "freedom to fail." Just as the company becomes a national success, a risky European expansion shatters the team, pushing Titan to the brink of collapse and forcing Xerxes to confront the cost of his ambition. With time running out and the board ready to replace them, the team reunites for one final, desperate attempt at reinvention, placing everything on a single, untested idea that could either end Titan forever or redefine India's place in global watchmaking.
