Plot Summary



During the 1800s, paroled Brazilian bandit Cobra Verde is sent to West Africa with a few troops to man an old Portuguese fort and to convince the local African ruler to resume the slave trade with Brazil.

The original dual mono English audio track plus original dual mono and 5.1 surround upmix German audio tracks are included. This film was post-dubbed in studio in both languages so no matter what language you pick the lips will not sync with the audio. I have set the English audio to be the primary track as I think most people will watch the movie this way but it should be noted that Herzog's preferred version is the German audio.
