Aeon Flux, film diretto da Karyn Kusama, racconta la storia di un mondo sopravvissuto a un virus mortale che ha sterminato quasi tutta la popolazione. Siamo nel 2415 e sono passati ben quattro secoli dalla diffusione del batterio letale: Trevor Goodchild (Marton Csokas), illustre scienziato, ha creato una cura in grado di salvare un gruppo ristretto di persone.
I sopravvissuti sono stati trasferiti tutti in una piccola cittadina, Bregna. La vita sembra idilliaca in un luogo in cui piano piano sta rinascendo la natura. Tuttavia molti abitanti sono spaventati dal regime della dinastia Goodchild, che governa ormai da quattrocento anni, e soprattutto hanno paura per le continue sparizioni che si verificano......
