In Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator, players take on the role of a train driver traversing the longest railway line in the world, aboard the titular Trans-Siberian Railway. Along the way, the hero must face numerous problems, which sometimes turns the journey into a real fight for survival.

In Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator, the action is shown from a first-person perspective (FPP). The most important element of the gameplay is train operation. The authors provide us with the entire train, including the locomotive and its fully functional cockpit. From time to time, your peaceful journey is disturbed by both external and internal factors. The former include fallen trees blocking the road or even changing weather conditions. The latter, however, are a failing engine or seemingly prosaic problems such as a broken window pane.

When leaving the safe cabin (for example, to remove an obstacle on the tracks or to find raw materials on which the crafting system is based), you must constantly be on your guard. The game features a living ecosystem, and predators who see us as easy prey will stop at nothing to try to get us; Dangerous people lurking in the Russian wastelands also pose a threat. In extremely dangerous situations, we have no choice but to use our tools as weapons, such as a wrench or... a chainsaw.

Trans-Siberian Railway Simulator has three-dimensional graphics of decent quality. What is particularly noteworthy is the picturesque and diverse landscapes and the train model rich in details.
