Released in 2015, "War Room" chronicles the lives of Tony and Elizabeth Jordan (T.C. Stallings & Priscilla C. Shirer), a couple that seems to have it all: A healthy daughter, high-paying jobs and an awesome dream home. Unfortunately, their marriage has become more of a war zone than a sanctuary and their daughter is collateral damage. After Elizabeth meets Miss Clara on the job (Karen Abercrombie), she learns how to fight FOR her family instead of against them. Her newly energized faith transforms her life and has a positive effect on those around her, but can it save her bad marriage?



An independent film, "War Room" only cost $3 million to make and incredibly became the #1 movie in America upon release. Is it worthy of such a feat?

Storyline:

The theme of War Room is prayer, and how prayer is a powerful weapon, with the aim to get people back on their knees in prayer. The film is based round the lives of Tony and Elizabeth Jordan and their daughter, with a failing marriage, temptations come and bitterness increases. However in comes Miss Clara, a prayer warrior and Elizabeths new client, from this point Elizabeth is challenged and decides to fight for her marriage and her family. With some unexpected twists and turns along the way especially with Tony, this film is a roller coaster of emotions, with seriousness, sadness and humour, strong acting and a strong storyline, this film will have you compelled and on the edge of your seat till the end.



War Room is the Kendrick Brothers’ boldest, most spiritual and most evangelistic film, it will inspire you, challenge you and change you and your prayer life. It shows us and reminds us that prayer is a powerful weapon.
