　　小野田登岛后的第一项任务，就是摧毁卢邦岛 的机场和码头，反制试图降落的美军战机。但这项任务却告失败，美军的攻击迫使小野田与队友一路撤退，并躲进丛林之中。然而战争竟然很快就结束了。当日本投降消息不断传来，却都被小野田及队友们视为欺骗战术。
　　他们一行人躲在丛林里，以香蕉皮、椰子和偷来的米粮充饥。即使身处蛇虫鼠蚁之间，也绝不因为饥饿而投降。就算日本搜索队找到了他们，也都被认为是诱降的伎俩。小野田一心坚信，他正在执行一项秘密任务，就是要在皇军重返之前控制该岛，他并深信战争从未结束。点击图片可查看大图
