Voyager 4K

AS THE UPLOADER, I SHALL SEED FROM TWO LOCATIONS FOR A RATIO OF 30, AFTER THAT THE COMMUNITY MUST SEED.



Since you guys liked the DS9 4K test, here is a Voyager episode in the same vein.

The source was a genuine PAL DVD of 720x576i @ 25fps.

- It was first ripped losslessly to a file.

- The rip was colour and contrast enhanced using conventional means (i.e. NOT Ai), then output losslessly to another file.

- This output was then fed into Ai to first de-interlace (very important) , then enhance and upscale to 1080p, result was output losslessly to yet another file.

- Again the resulting footage was fed into Ai again, to further enhance and upscale to 2160p, using a different model to the previous run. Output was compressed to HVEC.

- At the end, subtitles & audio were added.

As you can appreciate a fair amount of work has gone into it, hence it is a one-off.

If nothing else, it shows how luscious seven-of-nine really was!
