All the President's Men
In the run-up to the 1972 elections, Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward covers what seems to be a minor break-in at the Democratic Party National headquarters. He is surprised to find top lawyers already on the defense case, and the discovery of names and addresses of Republican fund organizers on the accused further arouses his suspicions. The editor of the Post is prepared to run with the story and assigns Woodward and Carl Bernstein to it. They find the trail leading higher and higher in the Republican Party, and eventually into the White House itself.

Based on the book of the same name (1974) by American journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.
Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward (Robert Redford) and Carl Bernstein (Dustin Hoffman) through anonymous sources reveal details of the Watergate scandal that has been unfolding since the beginning of 1972. They show the connection of the events to the high levels of the Department of Justice, The FBI, the CIA and the White House. They also interview President Nixon's accountant (Jane Alexander), with whom they learn about diversion of funds and destruction of documents. On August 8, 1974, the president resigned to avoid being impeached.
In the supporting role of investigative journalist Ben Bradley is Jason Robards, who won an Oscar for his performance.
