The Italian Job

The Italian Job è un film diretto da F. Gary Gray, in cui dei ladri professionisti realizzano una rapina eccezionale.
Alla guida di John Bridger (Donald Sutherland) e Charlie Croker (Mark Wahlberg), un gruppo di abili rapinatori si riunisce l’ultima volta per mettere a segno il colpo finale: rubare 35 milioni di dollari in lingotti d’oro da una cassaforte che si trova a Venezia, in Italia.
Durante il furto tutto fila magicamente liscio, ma a un certo punto il complice Steve Frezelli (Edward Norton), spinto dall'avidità, fa in modo di eliminare gli altri del team e tenere tutto il bottino per sé. Convinto di essere riuscito nel suo intento, fugge a Los Angeles con la refurtiva.
Ciò che non sa è che Charlie è sopravvissuto ed è deciso più che mai ad avere la sua vendetta: così entra in contatto con Stella (Charlize Theron), la figlia di Bridger. Grazie a lei, le abilità informatiche di Lyle (Seth Green), l’esperto di esplosivi Left Ear (Mos Def) e l’autista Handsome Rob (Jason Statham), Charlie organizza un audace piano per mandare in tilt il traffico di Los Angeles, acchiappare il traditore e riprendersi l'oro
