The original French stereo was not available on the Severin Blu-ray where the DTS-HD MA 2.0 "stereo" tracks are actually dual mono. New versions included the original French stereo as lossless LPCM. The film was shot with stars Kitaen and Huff speaking their lines in English, while the rest of the cast speaks in French. Both French and English audio tracks are dubbed. Director Just Jaeckin said French is the original language¹ which is why it is chosen as main audio.
