Description
The Creator, film diretto da Gareth Edwards, è ambientato in un futuro devastato dalla guerra combattuta tra la razza umana e le forme di intelligenza artificiale. Racconta la storia di Joshua (John David Washington), un ex agente delle forze speciali, che ha di recente perso sua moglie (Gemma Chan). L'uomo viene reclutato per una missione tanto importante quanto ardua: dare la caccia e uccidere il Creator, l'inafferrabile architetto dell'avanzata IA. Nelle mani di quest'ultimo c'è il destino del mondo, perché ha sviluppato una misteriosa arma, che potrebbe mettere fine alla guerra, ma anche all'intera umanità.
Joshua insieme al suo team di agenti d'élite riesce a superare le linee nemiche nel territorio invaso e detenuto dall'IA, ma una volta ritrovatosi di fronte all'arma apocalittica, farà una scoperta agghiacciante: la pericolosa arma che Joshua dovrebbe annientare è un'IA che ha l'aspetto di una bambina.
