Taper's Notes:



Here we go with show 3 on the "5-4-3-2-1" tour ( 5 SHOWS - 4 STATES - 3 BANDS

- 2 TAPERS - 1 MISSION ;) ) and what a show it was and is!!! After a killer night

of King's X the night before, it was time for the longest of our roadtrips, this

time to MI for this one and it was a very enjoyable, non-eventful trip with

SiriusJoe and cranking some serious tunes on the way! We hung out in the uppermost

seats straightback and took in the view, knowing how nice it was to be back in an

arena and a smaller one at that, then we headed down to our seats and waited in awe

as to what was about to transpire :)



We were about 12 row on Geddy's side and with a little wiggle room which definitely

helped. The crowd was pretty good around us, although a little bit in front of us

was a clapper but the music overpowers him pretty well. The sound was just really

phenominal and the mix very well indeed and once again the sub-card mics showed what

they can do in the right situation! There's a few clunkers by the band, but overall

it was a great show and totally awesome versions of many, many songs. I was blown

away time after time and the Clockwork Angels stuff with the strings is stellar.

From start to finish this one is a must have and a wonderful night of Rush! :)



A very, very, very special thanks to SiriusJoe for mastering this puppy and his

wonderful patience with me as well as his terrific hospitality and making this a

trip to remember for the ages! ;)
