Amos and Andy orginated as a popular radio show and moved on to the TV screen. The Amos 'n' Andy show is centered on The Kingfish's schemes to get rich, often by duping his brothers in the Mystic Knights of the Sea Lodge. Andy was particularly dupable. Amos mostly narrated.



After the success of the TV show, a local TV network affiliate developed a cartoon version of the show with 2 pilot episodes. The cartoon series didn't get any farther than the 2 episodes.
