NOTE 3:

There is an oversexualized goose in this KIDS movie with JIGGLY tiddies, people in the animation AND writing department ACTUALLY greenlist this it's fucking unbelievable. Probably sucked like 70% of the animation budget.



NOTE 4:

Source was more competently animated and no characters literally degrading in quality, still encoded in VC-1 but no telecining, used FFMS2 for input, light denoise and sharpening using FFT3D, converted the colorspace to RGB32 for input in REAL-CUGAN for 2X upscaling in order to fix up the blurry and jagged lines scattered throughout the movie, downscaled back to 1472x1072 using Catrom, converted back to YUV420P8 and finally encoding with x264 qp 0 at preset slow, which is mathematically lossless. The hard-coded Danish forced subs still exist.



NOTE 5:

The 640kbit/s 5.1 English stream is sourced from STARZ WEB-DL, but due them adding their own intro and lossy trim + container delay wasn't cutting it I was forced to import the audio into Audacity, trim, export each channel in PCM 24bit LE, then re-encoded back to EAC3 640kbit/s using Dolby Media Encoder (FFmpeg's implementation is trash), finally synchronized by -500ms. I know this is cheating because lossy to lossy, but the difference is pretty much invisible.



NOTE 6:

I know it's not perfect in some scenes, but I did my best. Let's all cheer for the continuated development and further advancement of super-resolution AIs.
