But as Christopher grows close with another girl, Elianna begins to realize that she is not as indifferent to him as she once thought.” * * * * Ep 09 is the beginning of a new arc - technically volume 03 of the novels. Looks like they skipped over 2/3 of material in volume 02 or so. In any event the simulcast tl in this episode was even more stiff and mtl-like than most other episodes (I think ep 04 is an exception). Which is a problem at times with subtlety - esp in a series like this when there is court intrigue and other countries and ranks of nobles all coming into the narrative.
