Banana Joe delivers his load of bananas and then returns to the idyllic South American Indian village of Amantido. The villagers are happy with his return, because Joe always brings toys for the children and medicine for the adults. However, the peace is disturbed by white imperialists who have their eye on the banana cultivation of the village. They are forcibly evicted by Papa Joe, but from that moment on, Joe has trouble with the authorities, because he does not have a trading license.
