Series Plot: "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" was a television spin-off of two made-for-TV movies in the early 1970s that featured reporter Carl Kolchak. The TV show relocated Kolchak to Chicago, where he worked for the Independent News Service. Each week, he investigated various supernatural and supranatural creatures, ranging from aliens, to vampires, to Aztec sacrificial cults. Although it only lasted one season on ABC, the show has remained a fan favorite.
