This project is in cooperation with **KTXP**. Thanks to them for elaborating Chinese subtitles. Meanthile, thank **錯黨@Airota** for translating subtitles into traditional Chinese.
The source quality is mediocre. We noticed that lines are full with aliasing and some scenes show slight banding. The native resolution is 800p, while the distributor applied an inferior algorithm to upscale the picture to 1080p, leading to lots of aliasing and blurred images. We have applied descaling and reconstruction for the lines, so as to eliminate most of aliasing and improve sharpness. In addition, there are still very severe aliasing at the native 800p in many of the 3D rendered scenes. Therefore, we have applied stronger anti-aliasing to these scenes. As to the rather mild banding, we have removed them in a reduced intensity. Last but not least, regular adaptive sharpening and denoising are applied, and the text is specially protected.
In terms of bonus, we have customized different solutions to process different bonuses. The BD contains 2nd Live! Brand New Story Hiru Kouen in three parts, we treated them more than bonus and allocated sufficient bitrate to them.
