Pushpa Raj does not have a last name. He resides in Andhra Pradesh’s Seshachalam forest. He starts out as a red sandalwood smuggler’s coolie and earns the trust of the Kondareddy brothers’ syndicate. Mangalam Seenu, the syndicate’s primary boss, is generating crores of rupees by transporting the wood to Chennai and handing out peanuts to Kondareddy and other members of the syndicate. Pushpa challenges Mangalam Seenu to a duel and becomes the new don.
