It's basic summary is: "Happy-go-lucky short stories of daily lives of the band members of Plasmagica and ShinganCrimsonZ.", but there are other bands who get focused on from Season 1 as well. Summary from MAL: https://myanimelist.net/anime/32039/Show_By_Rock_Short The Show by Rock Shorts (now officially "season 1") was produced by Studio Bones, and aired back in the summer season of 2021 in between season 1 and season 2, and pretty much flew under the radar of a lot of folks. Curiously it seems that in Japan it did not receive a BD release - only a DVD one. But here in America is DID receive a BD release? A BD release complete with pgs files, which was an introduction to OCR'ing things for me - and all I can say is that I am glad it was only a series of Shorts. Even so, for whatever reason it appears that no one has ever done a BD release of this little series in the five years since it aired. We are very glad to be able to finally present it to those fans of Sanrio's Show by Rock franchise. There are still plans to be able to eventually come out with a BD release of Seasons 2, 3 and 4 of Show by Rock down the line. We will try as much as possible to continue to conform the releases with orz's efforts in Season 1 (which we did a BD release of that can be grabbed here: https://nyaa.si/view/1298732 ) and for the few eps of Season 2 they were able to complete. We attempted to hold to the same standard here in the BD Shorts as well. As usual, this release has been optimized for viewing in mpv - other player's may give unexpected results. Once again, thanks to both the staff at orz for their work in Season 1 and ultimately serving as the inspiration to try and bring these seasons into English, and a huge thanks to all the staff that helped to get this little offering out the door to other fans of Show by Rock.
