FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST is an old yet fabulous anime. Limited by the post-processing techniques available in the old days, the native resolution is only 540p. As a result of a poor upscaling algorithm used, the lines are highly aliased, so we applied anti-aliasing and adaptive sharpening to the lines. As for the staff info which has a FHD resolution, we also used Mask to effectively protect the details. Regarding the planes, we applied routine de-banding and self-adaptive de-noising.
