I downloaded the source file "BluRay.720p.DTS.x264-CHD" and found the best possible subtitles from Subscene.com (Blu-Ray 720p x264 AAC Dolby FLiCKSiCK). Then I...
- "Softened" subtitled profanity (bastard --> jerk, damn --> darn, bitch --> wench etc.)
- Used a linear video editor to blur out some nudity at 38:02 and 40:37
- Used Subtitle Edit (by Nikolaj Lynge Olsson) to find and fix all flagged issues
- Corrected other commonly-found typos
- Watched the film and made fixes/corrections/rewrites to the subtitles for spelling & grammar
- Re-processed the film using Handbrake to add the subtitles as soft subtitles
