The Town è un film del 2010 diretto da Ben Affleck. A Charlestown, Massachusetts, Doug MacRay (Ben Affleck) e la sua banda di esperti ladri composta da James "Jem" Coughlin (Jeremy Renner), Albert "Gloansy" Magloan (Slaine), e Desmond "Dez" Elden (Owen Burke). L'ultimo colpo in banca, organizzato da Doug, non è andato come previsto e i suoi compagni sono stati costretti a prendere in ostaggio la direttrice Claire (Rebecca Hall). Dopo averla liberata, Doug cerca di rintracciarla per assicurarsi che la donna non rappresenti una minaccia dal momento che l'FBI è alle loro costole. Imprevedibilmente, l'uomo si innamora di Claire e decide di lasciare il giro d'affari. Il buon proposito di Doug, tuttavia, si scontra ben presto con la realtà e con le pressioni del boss malavitoso per cui lavora che pretende sempre più soldi...
