First World War France.



   War Horse is a play based on the book of the same name by children's writer Michael

Morpurgo, adapted for stage by Nick Stafford. Originally Morpurgo thought "they must be mad" to

try to make a play from his best-selling 1982 novel; nonetheless, the play was a success.

My notes



      It's not an insignificant achievement that War Horse has been seen by five million viewers

according to the introduction by Emma Freud.  This was from the Live to Theatre presentations

and the capture from Arts sources.



      I came to viewing  War Horse fresh, not knowing anything about the play.

For this reason I leave the pleasure of the show completely to the viewer and

with only a brief cast list.  This is also a recode from a previous source in reduced size and

edited for easier viewing.  A note on the source is in the NFO in the folder.



    Subtitles are incomplete.  There is an English subtitle for the first part only.



   Also in my torrent collection there is "The Making Of War Horse" which is a standalone

documentary available on DVD which was my source.
