Different vibes in the second season, more of a "serious" tone. The comic the show's based off was a oneshot. S01 is pretty true to that comic but used up all the source material. S02 is totally original writing. Probably explains why it's so different.

But don't let me put you off. Just don't expect the fun lightheartedness of the first half. If you want to know what happened to James and Alyssa, this'll tell ya.
