Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
The stable wormhole discovered by the Deep Space Nine crew is known to the Bajoran people as the Celestial Temple of their Prophets. Sisko, as discoverer of the wormhole and its inhabitants, is therefore the Emissary of Bajoran prophesy. The wormhole's other end is in the Gamma Quadrant, halfway around the galaxy from Bajor. That section of space is dominated by the malevolent Dominion. The Dominion is led by the Changelings, the race of shapeshifters to which Odo belongs. As of the beginning of the sixth season, Cardassia has joined the Dominion, and together they are waging war on the Federation and their Klingon allies. The war is quickly becoming the most costly war ever for the Federation, and the Deep Space Nine crew must fight to protect their way of life.

This work corrects the authoring issues that the Defiance Project AI upsamples failed to address. I initially thought to just fix the Defiance projects work and use them as a source as they used an older version of the same software and just posted that output. However at that point the FPS and audio sync issues where baked in and could not be corrected.
I started completely over with the raw DVDs and did a proper deinterlace and conversion to a stable standard 23.977FPS. That was run through the AI software which took a couple of weeks to render the season. Sadly the DVDs have a lot of rainbowing of colors that neither the AI nor my standard filters could address. The end results go from muddy DVDs to pretty bad 1080p. Still much more clarity and detail is gained and the end result is very much improved. We even upsampled and included all the content of the Bonus Features DVD.
