Drugstore Cowboy (1989) 1080p PROPER Bluray 10-bit x265 HEVC DTS-HD EAC3 2.0 [XannyFamily]



Now this is something special. Very difficult to find this film on Bluray (has to be imported) and as it's so rare I thought I'd do a high quality release. This is the only "PROPER" release of this film on any public tracker.



An independent American film by director Gus Van Sant based on the true story of a group of drug addicts who robbed pharmacies for opiates. Includes a cameo role played by famous writer William S. Burroughs. Very different to the typical Hollywood stuff and one of my personal all-time favourite films.



Encoded at a CRF of 18, the picture looks virtually identical to the Bluray source. Includes the original DTS-HD lossless audio stream and EAC3 audio as a backup. Both are stereo rather than surround - this is how the audio on the Bluray came. But nonetheless the DTS-HD sounds great. And as always, all this at under 10GB!
