Summary



" When an old adversary threatens Rome, the city calls once more on her hero and defender: Coriolanus. But famine threatens the city, the citizens hunger swells to an appetite for change, and on returning from the field Coriolanus must confront the march of realpolitik and the voice of an angry people.

  With many of the backlog of NTLive, Globe and RSC being made available during the

theatre shut downs the titles of the top tier of Shakespeare plays will inevitably

repeat-- some more than others.  As they come our way just enjoy them now, in a twelfth night, or what you will.



A very large file size version of this was captured when released live to theatres in 2014.  This new recode from stream allows me to add subtitles with a recently added option to my browser.  



Cast list and notes are rolled over from an earlier upload I made to an index now no

longer used.  The NTlive version joins the Coriolanus from Stratford Festival also in my file group.  Both have excellent elements.  RSC has one as well which I have not posted to the new index.
