EN: The story is about friendship and family witch makes it an easy to watch, feel good movie. With a Christmas theme, the movie is a story told by grandpa Selly (Romania's most well known vlogger) at the age of 74 and to his granddaughter. Before going to bed the granddaughter asks grandpa Selly to tell her a story from the times the trees were still green, because in 2075 global warming has stricken. Grandpa Selly talks about the environment and how we were supposed to take care of our planet more. In his story we go back to 2019 when 5GANG were about to break-up because of financial problems. Selly, trying to earn more money for the band, accepts a mobster's invitation to go to his daughter's birthday and then gets kidnapped. Pain and Madalin are going through a romantic drama and Gami wants a new gang.

RO: 5gang: Un altfel de Craciun este o comedie de familie cu o poveste fictivă despre Selly și colegii lui de trupă, Dia, Gami, Pain și Mădălin.

În perioada Crăciunului, Selly care tocmai l-a cunoscut pe Corneliu Carafă (jucat de Micutzu), dispare subit. Colegii lui, care întâi se gândesc să îl înlocuiască, își dau seama că ar putea fi în perciol, așa că pleacă să-l caute. La puțin timp după ce îl găsesc, ajung si ei împotmoliți într-o situație precară.

Polițiștii (jucați de Matei Dima și Vali Dobrogeanu) încearcă să rezolve misterul vloggerului dispărut, în timp ce Pain și Madălin intră într-o situație romantică destul de complicată.

Selly este păzit de Helga (Laura Giurcanu), bodyguard-ul lui Carafă, și încearcă să evadeze.
