In this small Indie, 2D, narrative-based game, you take the role of the
Grim Reaper... on an office job. Your job is to decide which people
are going to live or die. Your choices will affect the world around you.
Keep the chaos away or foil plots to destroy the world and rise through
the ranks of Reapers all the way up to MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT, wow!
Death and Taxes is a game in the vein of narrative-based indie titles,
such as "Papers, Please", "Reigns", "Beholder" and "Animal Inspector".

Patch notes
-Fixed issues with missing/wrong Voice Over
-Fixed issues with New Game+ causing accidental data loss
-Fixed papers getting stuck in Desktop scene
-Fixed numerous typos and grammar errors
-Fixed items showing up in shop that should not have shown up
-Added some new profiles
-Made save system more robust (also backup generation)
-Improved Quality of Life (elevator scene, gallery, desktop item management)
A note from the developers
We're all huge nerds and lifelong gamers, and yes, I think all of us
have torrented games before. We don't mind! There are many
reasons why one would be in such a position: can't afford it, or want
to just try it out, just surfing and stumbling upon it - all of that is OK!
We just want to keep creating games that our players would enjoy.
And for us, it matters the most that as many people could have the
possibility to enjoy the games we create, one way or another. To this
end, we decided right from the start that the games we make should
be distributed on torrent sites as well! And we want it to be the best
version possible! There is no DRM, no content blocking, no BS. Just
the full game, and an in-game link to our Steam store page. If you

PS: This is currently the most up-to-date and stable release (v1.1.7).
We might have some more content patches in the future, but for now
