The Earth was ravaged by the Formics, an alien race seemingly determined to destroy humanity. Fifty years later, the people of Earth remain banded together to prevent their own annihilation from this technologically superior alien species. Ender Wiggin, a quiet but brilliant boy, may become the savior of the human race. He is separated from his beloved sister and his terrifying brother and brought to battle school in orbit around earth. Young Ender Wiggin is recruited by the International Military to lead the fight against the Formics, an insectoid alien race who had previously tried to invade Earth and had inflicted heavy losses on humankind.
In un futuro prossimo, una razza aliena ostile attacca la Terra, e solo l'eroismo del Comandante della Flotta Internazionale Mazer Rackham evita la disfatta totale. Nell'attesa di un nuovo attacco, lo stimato Colonnello Graff recluta i migliori ragazzi del pianeta per trovare il prossimo Mazer.
