Since 2003, "Lion Whisperer" Kevin Richardson has developed a remarkable bond with the predators of a 1,100-acre sanctuary in South Africa. But these relationships will be put to the test over the coming months as Kevin and his team of wildlife biologists must transfer them all to a new home. Witness the obstacles Kevin faces, from bureaucratic hurdles that threaten the move to the physical challenges of getting 27 lions, 14 spotted hyenas, and four black leopards in the van during these truly wild road trips.





1)  Backseat Lions

Animal behaviorist Kevin Richardson is tasked with his greatest challenge yet: moving 27 lions, 14 hyenas and four black leopards to a new sanctuary, but relocating these predators is the least of his problems. After months of clearing bureaucratic hurdles, the permits to transfer the animals are turned down weeks before the move. See how these wild animals are prepared for their new lives in a new reserve and how Kevin's fight to gain permission keeps him away from his four-legged family, straining relationships it took over a decade to build.



2)  Hyena Breakout

After months of bureaucratic red tape, Kevin Richardson has finally received permission to move his family of lions, hyenas, and black leopards to a new sanctuary on the edge of the 45,000-acre Dinokeng Reserve. Now comes the tricky part: transporting over 40 predators, including many that would rather skip the trip. Follow Kevin and a team of conservationists as they chase down runaway beasts, calm nervous travelers, and attempt to thwart a hyena breakout before taking on the biggest challenge of all: acclimating them to their new home.
