My notes



  For several years I joined a torrent on The Visit.  That torrent has lapsed and does not show as active on torrent search engines.  I've made the new torrent from DVD to become part of my archive of important plays and adaptations.  In the recode I'm able to make it smaller and easy to download.  This film is only a reference to the play by Durrenmatt.  I had also seen a university production of the original years ago.  It's an important work and contains what I consider one of the great characters of drama:  Karla (or Claire) Zachanasian.  Anthony Quinn also gives a star performance as Serge.



  The play by Durrenmatt is contained in introductory world theatre collections as a classic.
