Willy Signori, giornalista di cronaca nera di un quotidiano milanese, è abituato a trascorrere le sue monotone giornate incontrandosi con la fidanzata Alessandra, una professoressa di anatomia patologica, ed accudendo a casa Ugo, il fratello paralitico con cui vive. Coinvolto senza colpa in un mortale incidente automobilistico, viene aggredito da una giovane donna, Lucia, che lo accusa con estrema determinazione di essere l'assassino del suo fidanzato che si trovava alla guida dell'autovettura.



Willy gets involved in a car accident. The girlfriend of the man killed in the accident, who is waiting for a baby, blames Willy. So he decides to care for her and for the baby.
