Juan is struggling with finding a job. Despite his effort to find an honest way to support his family, he is constantly facing humiliation. An unfortunate event takes him to prison where he is not paying what he really did. This is a story about the inefficiency of the justice system in Mexico, where prisons are a place of punishment for the poor. Generally, those who end up in prison are not the dangerous criminals, but those who cannot bribe the authorities or afford a defense.
