OPIS
Film opowiada o narodzinach organizacji stawiającej sobie za cel samoobronę czarnej ludności. Organizacja ta przybrała nazwę Partii Czarnych Panter. Historia ta zaczyna się w 1967 roku w Oakland, gdy policja brutalnie rozprawia się z pokojową demonstracją czarnoskórych mieszkańców miasta. Pieśni i zapalone świece nie mają szans z policyjnymi pałkami. Tak rodzi się idea powstania murzyńskiej partii, której podstawowym celem byłaby samoobrona.
