Quarant'anni dopo gli omicidi del 1978 a Haddonfield (Illinois, Stati Uniti), i giornalisti Aaron Korey e Dana Haines si recano allo Smith's Grove Sanitarium per conoscere Michael Myers, che venne catturato dopo essere stato ferito da sei colpi di pistola, cadendo giù dal balcone. Il dott. Ranbir Sartain li informa che Michael è in grado di parlare, ma ha scelto di non farlo. Aaron non riesce a convincere Michael a parlare, anche dopo aver tirato fuori la maschera che indossava.







In October 2018, forty years after the massacre in Haddonfield, true-crime pod-casters Aaron Korey and Dana Haines travel to Warren County Smith's Grove Sanitarium to visit Michael Myers. They briefly interview Michael's psychiatrist Dr. Ranbir Sartain, a former student of Dr. Samuel Loomis, before meeting with Michael in hopes of gaining some insight into his past actions before his transfer to a new facility
