The X-Fools

This is a fairly short and simple game from 1997 parodying popular sci fi thriller TV series The X-Files. It features former FBI agents Mully and Scudder, and is set in a trailer where they continue their work. Gameplay is simple. A graphic adventure/point and click style interface is the hub of the game, and a number of minigames are contained in various locations. Solving puzzles opens up different areas as the game progresses.

X-Files fans will get the most out of this, of course, because it is stuffed with show references. For example, a note taped to the wall reads "Mully, your sister called." Also, one of the minigames is actually an X-Files trivia quiz.

Installation and play should be straightforward. I have this running on a Windows 10 machine with an AMD Ryzen 3, no tweaking needed. Mount image and run the setup application. It will also want to run the Quicktime setup, go ahead and allow it, and you're ready for play, it even sets right up on your start menu.
