OPIS
Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) jest wschodzącą gwiazdą szkolnej drużyny futbolowej i wzorowym uczniem. Jego domem jest miasteczko Compton. Pewnego dnia trener Billy Baker (Taye Diggs) proponuje mu miejsce w prowadzonym przez siebie zespole z Beverly Hills. Matka chłopaka Grace (Karimah Westbrook) i jego najlepszy przyjaciel Coop (Bre-Z) przekonują go, że musi wykorzystać szansę, jaką daje mu los. Spencer opuszcza świat, który dobrze zna i trafia do Beverly Hills, gdzie stara się dopasować do środowiska i ułożyć sobie życie.
