Fabuła na pozór jest dość banalna: grupka osób, budząca się w tajemniczym sześcianie, olbrzymiej machinie pełnej morderczych zasadzek, dwoi się i troi, aby wyjść z pułapki cało. Z czasem jednak okazuje się, że zabójcze sidła to doskonały twór tysięcy pomieszczeń, wielki labirynt o nieprawdopodobnej ilości ciasnych korytarzy. Labirynt, który się porusza... A kiedy wiara w powodzenie i zmęczenie uwięzionych ludzi dadzą o sobie znać, kiedy mroczna strona ludzkiej psychiki obudzi się w rozterce i rozpaczliwej próbie walki o życie, bohaterowie staną przed znacznie trudniejszym wyzwaniem niż rozgryzienie zagadki sześcianu. Zmierzą się z własnym człowieczeństwem...
