Description
捷克的社会主义政权垮塌，23000名罪犯获得大赦，犯罪率旋即飙升。在此期间，名叫吉里·卡吉尼克（Konstantin Lavronenko 饰）的恶魔臭名昭著，妇孺皆知，他犯下累累罪行，身上背负无数人命。在卡吉尼克入狱的第十个年头，名叫波科洛娃（Tatiana Vilhelmová 饰）的女律师接手了卡吉尼克的案子，她对这个无情恐怖的杀人狂颇感兴趣，但是在对此前的材料和证据进行梳理后，波科洛娃发觉此间有着诸多疑点。在她执著的坚持下，卡吉尼克终于同意这名陌生的女律师为其上诉辩护。在这一过程中，社会体制剧变后的种种黑幕与罪恶也相继浮出水面……
