Description
马赛尔童年的时候 ，在暑假和家人来普罗旺斯的小山度假。在这个风景秀丽的地方，马塞尔和他的小伙伴李力度过了一段难忘的时光。然而回到日常生活中，马塞尔却要为了代表学校参加奖学金考试而不得不着手准备枯燥的复习，而回味那些在山区度过的无忧无虑的生活回忆成了他平日里唯一的乐趣。令人惊喜的是，在母亲的不断计划于协调下，马塞尔一家开始了由每个假期拓展到每个周末去普罗旺斯山区度假的生活，马歇尔有了更多在乡村田野间的奇遇和故事。但是每周来回四个多小时的步程让全家人有些吃不消，这时候他们遇上了马塞尔父亲当运河监工的学生，他利用职务便利给了马塞尔一家一把钥匙让他们沿运河行走，使他们的路途缩短为了一个小时。虽然这种方式为这一家人提供了便利，却让自尊自重的父亲过起了自责和胆战的生活…
