A new FBI profiler, Elizabeth Keen, has her entire life uprooted when a mysterious criminal, Raymond Reddington, who has eluded capture for decades, turns himself in and insists on speaking only to her.

Nella nuova stagione di The Blacklist, la quinta, in onda su FoxCrime a partire dal 3 novembre 2017, Red (James Spader) e Liz (Megan Boone) lavorano di nuovo insieme.

Lo scopo è quello di consegnare un altro blacklister alla speciale Task Force, guadagnando al contempo abbastanza soldi.

Il blacklister a cui Red dà la caccia, con il supporto di Liz, è il misterioso Smokey Putnum.

Ma i due daranno la caccia anche a Greyson Blaise, un milionario che ha costruito dal nulla un impero economico.

Mentre Liz affronta la nuova realtà di lavorare accanto a suo padre, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) si trova in una posizione precaria e Tom (Ryan Eggold) valuta le sue opzioni.
