La storia è ispirata alle sanguinose rivolte che sconvolsero Detroit nel 1967. Tra le strade della città si consumò un vero e proprio massacro ad pera della polizia, in cui persero la vita tre afroamericani e centinaia di persone restarono gravemente ferite. La rivolta successiva portò a disordini senza precendenti constringendo cosi', ad una presa di coscienza su quanto accaduto durante quell'ignobile giorno di cinquant'anni fa.



The story is inspired by the bloody revolts that shook Detroit in 1967. Among the streets of the city there was a real police pear massacre, in which three African Americans lost their lives and hundreds of people were seriously injured. The subsequent uprising led to unprecedented unrest, thus constricting an awareness of what happened during that wretched day of fifty years ago.
