Description

Il sâengagea tout de même dans lâinfanterie comme médecin. Son refus dâinfléchir ses convictions lui valut dâêtre rudement mené par ses camarades et sa hiérarchie, mais câest armé de sa seule foi quâil est entré dans lâenfer de la guerre pour en devenir lâun des plus grands héros. Lors de la bataille dâOkinawa sur lâimprenable falaise de Maeda, il a réussi à sauver des dizaines de vies seul sous le feu de lâennemi, ramenant en sureté, du champ de bataille, un à un les soldats blessés.
