TRAMA:

Charlize Theron è l'Atomica Bionda del titolo, un concentrato di astuzia, sensualità e abilità di spionaggio, al servizio della Corona britannica. Nel 1989, alla vigilia del crollo del Muro di Berlino e due settimane prima dell'inizio della Guerra Fredda, un agente dell'M16 in possesso di informazioni segrete viene ucciso in circostanze misteriose. Grazie alla complicità di una fonte a est della barricata, l'agente in incognito era riuscito a ottenere una lista contenente i nomi e le identità di tutte le spie al lavoro nella capitale tedesca. Lorraine Broughton (Theron), la migliore esperta di intelligence della Gran Bretagna, viene perciò inviata in missione nel continente per indagare sulla scomparsa del collega e rintracciare la lista perduta. In questa polveriera di rivolta sociale, controspionaggio, defezioni fallite e assassinii segreti, la bella e letale Lorraine, in squadra col capo dell'intelligence locale David Percival (James McAvoy), fa uso delle conoscenze apprese durante l'addestramento e di tutte le sue doti naturali per recuperare la lista prima che il muro si sgretoli, portando via con sé anche gli ultimi brandelli di comunismo.


STORYLINE:

The crown jewel of Her Majesty's Secret Intelligence Service, Agent Lorraine Broughton (Theron) is equal parts spycraft, sensuality and savagery, willing to deploy any of her skills to stay alive on her impossible mission. Sent alone into Berlin to deliver a priceless dossier out of the destabilized city, she partners with embedded station chief David Percival (James McAvoy) to navigate her way through the deadliest game of spies.
