A spaceship part at the time of the first mission to colonize Mars. After taking off, however, it turns out that an astronaut is pregnant. The woman shortly after landing dies of the complications of giving birth to the first human being born on the red planet without ever revealing the father's name. Thus begins the extraordinary life of Gardner Elliot, destined to become a very clever and curious boy. 16 years later, Gardner met only 14 people in his life and received unconventional education when, while searching for his father and on Earth, he has never met a friendship with an adolescent Of Colorado named Tulsa. When he then has the chance to go to Earth, in him comes the desire to experience all the wonders he has just read before discovering, once you begin his explorations, that his body can not withstand the earthly atmosphere. Determined to find his father, Gardner flees away and, in the company of Tulsa, will start a race against time to unravel the mysteries of his existence.
