Appu Kutty as Chellappa gives a very realistic performance and steals the show. He appears in two different getups in the film. He is also good at expressing emotions. Delija, who is introduced in Tamil through this film, does a sincere job. She also looks nice in the film. Power star Srinivasan, who has a brief role in the film, does a convincing job. M.S Bhaskar, on his part, has lived his role. Rest of the cast ably support.

Sivabalan aka Appu Kutty indulges in job such as ragpicking since his childhood. He believes that one should be sincere and honest in whatever he does. His honesty takes him to a good level in his life. When he comes to a commendable position he decides to buy a house for his mother.

In the meantime Delija’s father has a big failure in his business and he goes to jail in the name of cheating. Twenty lakh rupees are required to bail him out. Hence they decide to sell their house. Appu Kutty buys that house with the required money and Dillija bails her father from the jail. But even before registering the house the police arrests Appu Kutty.

When Appu Kutty returns from jail Delija understands his good nature and marries him. She also helps him to flourish in his business. Is their lives a bed of roses after this? Watch the movie to find out.
